The actual ”technique” is the mindfulness-part of the work. The rest is exercises, but the point is the approach to these exercises.

Mindfulness in action

”The way in which”, is our focus.

It is basic for any lesson, that you must have a certain degree of mindfulness to keep it going, and this is one of the reasons it is important to have your own teacher during a whole lesson – she helps you stay mindfull and present.

In Alexander Technique we don´t really call it mindfulness, because the content of the word it is such a basic part of the alexander technical work. You could call Alexander Technique ”mindfulness in action”.
